- I am fascinated with information that cannot be seen or easily extracted, like the mind containing memories and information that is obscured. Natural elements, seeds, cells and microscopic images only show a portion of information. The human body also stands as a metaphor for the container, taking in social constructs and gender roles prevalent still today. My work makes comments on these factors heavily relying on autobiographic information and domesticity.

ReplyDeleteI always wanted to use green and pink together, as much as I hate pink. I also thought if Salmonella was going to be a color it would be pink, not sure why. Thanks!
