Thank you, Jeremy hates the title because he feels it's misleading. Of which I told him was exactly the purpose, to play with the viewers preconceived notions.
I am fascinated with information that cannot be seen or easily extracted, like the mind containing memories and information that is obscured. Natural elements, seeds, cells and microscopic images only show a portion of information. The human body also stands as a metaphor for the container, taking in social constructs and gender roles prevalent still today. My work makes comments on these factors heavily relying on autobiographic information and domesticity.
this one is great. i like the little floating chair, text and the overall odd airy composition.
